Building Small Business HR is an on-line diagnostic tool developed to assist small business in British Columbia to meet the challenge of recruiting and retaining skilled workers.

The questionnaire asks owner/managers to give their opinion on statements about recruitment and selection, retention and leadership in their businesses. It provides a framework to review current human resource management practices in a business and then offers access to some internet resources to assist in each area.

The service provided by the questionnaire is available without charge and is sponsored by the Ministry of Small Business and Revenue with assistance from the Leadership and Management Development Council of BC. The Building Small Business HR tool is designed only as a guide to aid in the review of human resource management practices and should be used in conjunction with other resources.

Building Small Business HR was designed to work with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher browsers.
