With British Columbia's economy booming and changing demographics, attracting and retaining staff can be a real challenge for all companies. The Building Small Business HR Quiz is designed to provide businesses with helpful information and resources to help them successfully recruit and retain workers.

This is an opportunity to focus on the HR priorities appropriate for your business. The quiz will ask you a series of questions to help you determine where you need to focus. Based on your answers, you will be directed to relevant websites that provide information on best practices in key areas. You can also use the Building Small Business HR Resource Guide to search for articles, courses and organizations to help you in recruiting and retaining employees.

At the end of the quiz, you will have the opportunity to develop action plans for the areas you want to focus on. Writing out your plan for improvement gives you a road map to work with and to measure your progress toward your goals.

The quiz takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Developing your action plan will take longer. Your username and password give you the flexibility to exit the quiz or action plan at any time and return to complete them later.
